On Wednesday, I was honored to be a part of the American Public Transportation Association‘s panel focusing on the sector’s responsibility to confront racial inequities in transportation and society as a whole. I was just in awe to be in the presence of some amazing thought leaders (Rodney Slater, Stephanie Gidigbi, Brad Mims and KeAndra Cylear Dodds…photo credit to Christopher Coes!)
This was just one of many great things in this exceptional week!
– My interview on The Mobility Podcast with Greg Rogers, Gregory Rodriguez and Pete Gould was released, where I talked about the importance of equitable transportation and mobility during the pandemic.
– I got the opportunity to share my thoughts on transportation equity and reflect on my career (the #GoodandBad!) with Professor Robert C. Hampshire‘s public policy class at my graduate alma mater the University of Michigan.
– My latest blog post on contactless transit payment systems was posted on the Urban Institute‘s Urban Wire.
And the best brother anywhere celebrated his big 3-0! Happy birthday Michael Ezike 🙂
Have a great weekend – practice social distancing and wear your mask!
