Would this be a place that you would like to get your car charged at? Bigger question is – would it incentivize you to consider an EV over a gas-powered or hybrid vehicle for your next purchase?
I will say this – your typical driver wants a similar charging experience across the board, just like filling up a gas tank. Whether you go to a 7-Eleven, Wawa, Sheetz, or Royal Farms, the experience is similar. Fill up your car, go into the store to buy food or other goods. If Tesla has one type of charging facility, and Electrify America has something different, that might be an issue.
Ideally, people want to charge any car, anywhere. And they should enjoy their time doing it. This is where the EV companies need to be more collaborative in making this paradigm a reality.
